HOW IT'S MADE:
Växbo Lin® is Scandinavia’s only
remaining spinner and weaver of linen. Production is located in the idyllic
village of Växbo, Hälsingland, Sweden. A place steeped in a linen tradition
that dates back centuries. Established in 1989 Växbo Lin® has evolved into a
full production company that goes from spinning the linen yarn to weaving it
into a line of stunning finished products.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR LINENS:
Wash separately the first time since lose fibers may attach
to other items. Always soak linen in lukewarm water for 20 - 30 minutes before
washing. Wash in hot water (approx. 140˚ Fahrenheit or 60˚ Celsius) using a
mild detergent without optical brighteners or perborates. Very short spin.
Stretch when hanging. NOTE: Never tumble-dry linen. Mangle or iron while
damp, using high heat. Shrinkage in the first wash is about 5 % in both
directions.
Stain removal: Remove stains as soon as possible.
Remove grease and fat with linen oil soap or gall soap. Wine stains are removed
with boiling water.
