PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE CAREFULLY. By using this site, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions of use. We reserve the right to modify them at any time. You should check these terms and conditions periodically for changes. By using this site after we post any changes to these terms and conditions, you agree to accept those changes, whether or not you have reviewed them. If at any time you choose not to accept these terms and conditions of use, please do not use this site.
These terms regulates all users of trulyswedishdesign.com. They will be valid for all your future transactions with Truly Swedish Design™, a division of Annika Ek International Inc. and visits to this website.
Truly Swedish Design™ reserves the right to revise these terms. The date of the latest update is found at the end of the Terms. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes.
We do not guarantee that all the items available at the trulyswedishdesign.com web shop are in stock at the time of your order. In the case of incorrect stock balance affecting your order we will contact you shortly by phone or by e-mail.
Truly Swedish Design™ cannot warrant that the content is at all time free of inaccuracies or typographical errors. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Truly Swedish Design™ may at any time change the content of the site.
Though Truly Swedish Design™ strives to always display the correct texts, images and pricing in the site and web shop, errors can occur. If you have been charged the wrong amount when shopping from the web shop, we will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or canceling your order. If we are unable to get in touch with you, your order will be automatically canceled.
Truly Swedish Design™ cannot be held responsible for any damage caused from using the site or for that matter not being able to use the site. Truly Swedish Design™ cannot guarantee a problem-free uninterrupted and secure access to the web site.
Our trademarks include the Truly Swedish Design™ name and graphic element as a logo. These trademarks may be used or registered in more than one country and your use of this web site does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks.
All personal information saved at trulyswedishdesign.com will be handled with most care. The information that we store will not be shared with any other organization other than making sure you get the best service possible. Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties only when it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. If you wish to end your subscription to our email communication you can do so at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all emails we send.
All customers paying by credit card are subject to validation checks. Truly Swedish Design™ makes the reservation to delay any order if we suspect a further security control is needed.
Truly Swedish Design™ web shop uses a 3rd party website to offer secure payment processing.
We cannot guarantee that colors in the website are fully equivalent to the items’ actual colors. This depends on the color settings of your computer and monitor.
Payment & Prices
All prices are in CAD. Applicable taxes will be applied to Canadian orders. Duties are included in the purchase price for Canadian orders. We accept credit card payments by major credit cards and also accept money orders. To pay with money order it must be mailed within 5 business days to Truly Swedish Design™ and the order will only be processed once payment has been received. The full amount will be charged upon ordering through the checkout.
For orders outside of Canada the customer pays applicable import taxes and customs fee according to the destination country’s policy when your order is delivered. Contact email@example.com to place international orders and for shipping quotes.
Special Orders and Custom Orders
Items marked as "Special Orders" and "Custom Orders" are final sale and cannot be returned for a refund, exchange or credit.
Exchanges and Refunds
During 30 days following receipt of your order, you may request the exchange or refund of items, which you must return to us in unused and perfect condition accompanied by the original packaging and invoice. To request a RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization number) always contact customer service for detailed instructions regarding returns at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shipping charges on returned merchandise are at the customer's expense. Returns will only be accepted if the product is in perfect condition with tags in place and original packaging is fully intact. You are responsible for the shipping of returned items back to Truly Swedish Design™. We recommend you insure the shipment and send with tracking. Items lost in transportation will not be compensated for.
Refunds for returned merchandise, shipping costs deducted, will be made within 14 days of the return of the product, to the original purchaser’s credit card. All exchanges are subject to availability.
If a product is specially made, or in any way changed after your instructions, you will not be able to change your order and sales are final.
Faulty items will be exchanged to the same type of product in the same size, style, or design, subject to availability. Refunds for faulty items can be made within the 90-day period following the order date.
When your order is placed we will send you a confirmation, and you will be notified via email once it has been shipped. Due to courier restrictions and the risk of credit card fraud we cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
If you wish to send products to more than one address, please place one order for each address. Orders to the United States and other destinations may be subject to applicable import taxes and customs fees according to your country’s policy when your order is delivered.
If your purchase qualifies for Free Shipping please note that you will be charged for outgoing shipping in the event that you return the purchase.
Orders in the amount of $149 and up before taxes ship free within Canada and to mainland United States. Remote and rural areas and over sized items may be exempt. For deliveries outside of Canada local duties and taxed may apply. Contact us by email at email@example.com or call 613 725 3401 for a shipping quote, we do our best to keep shipping costs as low as possible.
Shipping costs will not be refunded for uncollected items.
Violation of Rules
Truly Swedish Design™ reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including the right to block access to the site.
Individuals violating the restriction of password-protected areas of the site may be subject to prosecution.
In case of a catastrophic event, the obligations of Truly Swedish Design™ are procrastinated. The contract between you and Truly Swedish Design™ can in such cases be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Truly Swedish Design™. A catastrophic event is the event of failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters, and could include war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, or similar events.
Truly Swedish Design™ will under such circumstances do all we can to solve the matter for our customers as soon and entirely as possible.
The laws of your country may be different from the laws in Ontario, Canada and there may be additional legal requirements for you to use this website. You must comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations regarding your use of our website.
Truly Swedish Design™ is responsible if the shipment is damaged or lost during transportation to the customer. If the shipment is damaged or lost when returning it on your initiative, you are responsible for loss or damage. We recommend packing returned products in the original container/box or similar. Furthermore, we recommend insuring the shipment.
If shipments with obvious damages are delivered, you are obliged to notify the transportation company immediately and to refuse the acceptance of the shipment. Please also contact our customer service, so that Truly Swedish Design™ is able to protect its rights to satisfy claims against the transportation company. Hidden damages are to be reported to Truly Swedish Design™ firstname.lastname@example.org immediately after your notice, not later than 5 days after receiving the shipment.
We urge you to inspect the packaging of the shipment regarding obvious damages before signing the shipping documents. In case of damages they have to be reported to the shipping agent immediately, and they have to be set out in writing on the shipping documents of both you and the transportation company's copy. Furthermore, you are obliged to contact Truly Swedish Design™ email@example.com as soon as possible, not later than 5 days after receiving the shipment.
Please contact our customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any problems such as damages or, in any way, incorrect orders. If returning any product, after agreed with our customer service representative, use the original package, include a description of the damage and return to:
