ALVE is woven from environmentally safe plastic ribbons in a captivating black and white geometrical pattern. This durable and easy to care for rug is perfect for the entrance, hallway or in the bedroom.

HOW IT'S MADE:

Plastic rug woven in Dalarna, Sweden. The weaving is done on old traditional weaving looms where the craftsmanship is always present. The technique of weaving plastic carpets was born in 1948 in Sweden, and was later modernized by Pappelina®, as new forms, colors and materials were added to the original process.  Pappelina® carpets have become a worldwide success.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND SAFE:

Pappelina® and their suppliers follow strict Swedish and European rules to protect the environment. Their rugs do not contain any heavy metals or dangerous softeners, and dont give off any poisonous gas in case of fire. These are products with a long life that require a minimum of care.

USE IT OUTDOORS:

Pappelina® rugs also works outdoors on patios and by the pool since the colors are UV resistant.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Hand or machine wash in cold water. No cycle and no tumble dry. Stretch if necessary in wet condition, drip dry. Be careful with the edgings. Rinse off ketchup, do not rub.
